We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of global payroll, compliance with international tax and labor laws, and supporting various HR initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with multi-country payrolls.

Working on our team as a Senior Payroll Specialist position involves:

  • managing end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries (up to 70 employees), ensuring compliance with local tax and labor laws;
  • being the first point of contact with external vendors and payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing;
  • advising on difficult and sometimes complex questions/requests from employees concerning payments, allowances, and benefits;
  • ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping of payroll transactions, including maintenance of employee records and payroll registers;
  • collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payments for employee compensation, benefits, and bonuses;
  • preparing and analyzing payroll-related reports and metrics;
  • developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • maintaining current knowledge of payroll and tax regulations and best practices.

Candidate Expectations:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • minimum 4 years of experience in payroll accounting, preferably with a focus on global payroll;
  • very good command of English (written and spoken) — B2+;
  • strong knowledge of global payroll tax laws and regulations;
  • experience with international payroll processing, including multi-currency transactions;
  • proficiency with payroll systems;
  • ability to analyze data and prepare accurate and timely payroll reports;
  • good working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel;
  • strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent communication;
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • experience with HR initiatives and programs preferred.
