Bpm’online, a leading global CRM and BPM vendor, is pleased to announce that Pelco by Scheider Electric, a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of video security systems, selected bpm’online to deliver an integrated global sales forecasting and opportunity management system to leverage across 26 countries.
Having a vast distribution channel of over 20,000 resellers in 130 countries, Pelco missed a comprehensive next-gen solution to efficiently manage all opportunities and the sales pipeline. Prior to bpm’online, Pelco was using BOSS order management system where resellers and distributors accessed product information, submitted orders and tracked shipments. The company decided to implement a cutting-edge customer relationship management software that would meet the following requirements:
Bpm’online delivered a cloud solution to improve sales visibility. The system has become operational in 8 weeks, providing greater forecast accuracy, better conversion of leads to opportunities, and more effective collaboration between Pelco’s direct salesforce and its distributors.
Seamless integration with BOSS automates vital sales processes, providing forecasting and sales planning. Smart sales parameters define sales process rules to follow and automate tasks and activities, minimizing manual intervention and possibility of an error.
While Pelco’s channel still uses BOSS to get product quotes and register orders, Pelco’s sales teams use bpm’online to manage the channel sales and report on its efficiency and effectiveness. Data entered in BOSS by the internal global sales team automatically creates an opportunity and a relevant business process to launch in bpm’online CRM which is managed from lead to closure.
Due to its unique business process management engine bpm’online is fully customizable, thus adapting the system to Schneider’s corporate sales techniques and standards was fast and easy.
As a result of bpm’online CRM implementation, Pelco gained a range of benefits:
“We now have an opportunity to see how we can scale our business across the globe. Bpm’online provided us with an enterprise CRM system with built-in workflow and BPM tooling to integrate our order management system with customized business processes. Our global sales employees are going to be more successful with the support of this solution,” says Alisa Wright, Program Manager at Pelco by Schneider Electric.
With a long and prestigious history of offering high-quality, innovative products and exceptional customer service, Pelco by Schneider Electric has become the most sought-after supplier in the video security industry. Founded in 1957 and headquartered in Clovis, California, Pelco continues its never-ending pursuit of 100% customer satisfaction.
Since 2007, Pelco has been part of Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy and security management. Coming together as one, Pelco and Schneider Electric offer a unique ability to provide customers with an unmatched combination of solutions for infrastructure and security. Today, Pelco employs about 2,200 people worldwide, with resellers in 130 countries.
