Regular update package for Creatio products

We are excited to introduce a new update package for Creatio products, which features even more improvements and enhancements.

The new version updates include:

Email marketing. We continue to improve the Creatio CRM functionality. In the newest release, we’ve added integration with the SendGrid service for sending bulk emails and trigger emails. SendGrid has a delivery rate of 99.99%, as well as real-time analytical dashboards.

Business processes:

  • We’ve improved the process designer UX by adding several new cursor tools. Now, it’s much easier to customize the appearance of the diagram. The Arrow tool allows for moving separate elements on the diagram. The Lasso tool enables selecting multiple elements via a “drag box.” The Space tool allows for shifting all elements on the diagram left/right or up/down with its help, users can easily shift elements both horizontally and vertically.
  • Multi-instanced processes now can be executed in parallel. Users can run the subprocess instances in parallel or sequentially by changing the setting of the Subprocess element. Parallel process instances run independently from one another.
  • The results of multi-instance subprocesses can now have outbound parameters of the “Collection” type. You can map these parameters as regular collections in the parent process. The collection will include all bi-directional parameters of the multi-instance subprocess.
  • Users can now view process instances that were run as multi-instance processes. This information is available on the Process elements detail of the process log.

Analytics. In the newest release, we’ve added new analytical dashboards for sales, orders, campaigns, and leads. The dashboards are available out-of-the-box and can be used as is or customized to specific needs.

We’ve improved the navigation in the Dashboards section. Users can now view dashboard tabs as a menu, filter tabs, and add them to favorites. The dashboards that users add to favorites will display first in the list. In addition, users can now copy an entire chart series — you can use this feature to accelerate the creation of multi-series charts.

User customization tools. Section Wizard, enabling users to customize a basic Creatio functional module, is constantly enhanced with cutting edge features. Users can now create new sections based on the existing Creatio objects. Also, now users can copy a section record page and customize it as a separate page. Using business rules to populate or clear fields automatically is also available.

Core functions. For better user experience, we have extended the Creatio email functionality. For instance, if you manually connect an email that is being processed with instances in the system, other emails from a thread will automatically connect too. If you mark it as “processed,” the system will offer to mark an entire thread as “processed.” Emails with attachments are now marked with a paperclip symbol in the communication panel. Also, quoted previous emails are now visually separated on the email page.

Security. Creatio now manages permissions and limitations for uploading files. The setting already includes a list of potentially unsafe files by default.

Development tools. OData 4 now supports the UPSERT operation and can use data filtering by reverse connections. In addition, the API for working with data has been expanded this simplifies the app development and gives administrators even more opportunities for deep customization of the system.
